How to Create an Auxiliary View in Pro Engineer (Creo)

In this tutorial we will see how to create an auxiliary view in Pro/Engineer (Creo).

Step 1

Before start your drawing, check your configuration settings, and make sure that ‘make_aux_view_notes’ is set to ‘yes’. (Note that default settings for this config option is ‘No’). To access config options follow 'Tools --> Options '

Step 2

Select ‘Auxiliary …’ from the ‘Layout’ tab, and select one reference (Edge or Axis or Datum Plane) to make projection with respect to the selected reference.

Step 3

Now double click the Auxiliary View and set ‘View Name’, ‘Projection Arrows’ settings to complete the 'Auxiliary View' creation.
